App Choice Isn't the Deciding Factor in AAC Outcomes

Many families and clinicians assume the “right” AAC app is key to better communication outcomes. Our analysis of over 5,400 QuickTalker Freestyle caregiver reports tells a different story: across four widely used apps, outcomes looked strikingly similar regardless of app choice, suggesting other factors, like how well an app’s features match an individual’s needs, may matter more.
